Duddon Canoe Club

Duddon Canoe Club is an active canoe club based in the Barrow and Furness area of South Cumbria. The club has over 100 members, and as many of these are families we have well over 100 paddlers in the club.

The club is open to all types of canoeists of all abilities. Members take part in lake and flat water paddling, white water kayaking and canoeing, sea kayaking, canoe touring and camping, and BCU star scheme courses. During the summer months the club holds monthly family days and a few weekend camps.

The club is based at our new Club House at Buccleuch Dock in Barrow-in-Furness.

The club also holds a regular Wednesday evening pool session at Barrow Leisure Centre.

Duddon Canoe Club is affiliated to the BCU (British Canoe Union).
