Lakeland Canoe Club, with the support of Cumbria Canoeists and Kendal Mountain Festival, will be host to the world tour of the International Film Festival 2018 at the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal.
The Paddling Film Festival is an international adventure film tour presenting the world’s best paddling films of the year in more than 120 cities and towns across Canada, United States, United Kingdom and around the world. The films include whitewater, sea kayaking, canoeing, SUP, action and lifestyle.
With 20 inspiring paddling films shortlisted for the World Tour, including the 10 festival category winners, audiences will see exciting whitewater action, sea kayakers exploring remote coastlines, canoe expeditions in northern Canada, international river travel films, motivating environmental documentaries and short films capturing the lighter side of paddling life.
