River Crake

The River Crake is a grade 2/3 river that runs out of the bottom end of Coniston.
Often exited as spark bridge at the end of the grade 3 section however the run from Spark Bridge to Greenodd makes a nice introductory run to lead novice paddlers on.

It does  however get very overgrown so leaders must take care for overhanging branches and strainers that could catch the unaware out.
