River Eden and Solway Fundraising event

Last weekend saw the successful completion of a fundraising event by some members from Church in the Barn. On spotting the initial article and desire of the group Mike Sunderland got in touch with the organiser to offer some much needed advice and training. 

Over the last few months the team have completed various planning and training sessions allowing them to spend last weekend completing the challenge. Paddling the river Eden down to the coast and then across the Solway.  
 
Over £3K raised so far to be shared with the RLNI and Eden Valley Hospice.

Massive thanks to the teams below who were able to support on the day along with many others who supported the planning and training.
